Well to each own's interpretation.

How did you presume or assume that I don't contribute to the FOSS movement.
Who gave you the whole right to say its nonsense.

I sincerely and seriously believe that history teaches us lot about
values and the way things are.
For me this was news when Bill G. confesses he didn't pay for his
source-code when he preaches
others to pay as license-fees for a certain Operating System.

If I am advocating a certain value-notion to other people I need to
know what other value-systems and actions are happening. That's an
obligation I have to people to whom I am advocating a certain
value-system. Otherwise how do I tell to people why or how free
software not just the program but as a philosophy is needed. Why
having GPL or any of the copyleft licenses (may they be permissive or
reciprocal but is irrelevant to the topic here) are needed at all.

I also use FOSS for pretty much the same reasons as well.

hmmm.. I got the sources from a blog post which says about a bbc interview.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/7464074.stm

While I haven't seen the full interview but if they cut that segment,
I'm sure one would find
the same somewhere or the other.

Also the notion of what is positive is still a mystery to me. Please
enlighten this poor soul
in the definition of a "positive side"

Looking forward to comments, suggestions, additions to the same.
