We have to look from two aspects * participation * interactivity of content See Wikipedia is best because is has high degree of participation but interactivity is not much needed for participation, If you increase the interactivity of content using video recording or flash presentation the participation will be less. Like Google tech video,,, Increasing the contents interactivity will reduce the target audience also.. as it need more bandwidth..lie video takes time of download.. the most biggest disadvantage is search engine cannot seach a text inside the video or flash files. So Inorder to make a big e-learning platform (which i am working and calling it eduvid) we need to have a great participation and My system is best suitable for educational content. Always remember ,., at the end of the day "simplicity matter". Let wait for some more time for Eduvid to complete. > > > Well there is a Indian effort also, you can read a similar stuff at - > > (still incomplete) > > http://www.slideshare.net/narendra.sisodiya/project-eduvid-presentati > >on > > Wrap the URLs with a prefix < and suffix > e.g. <http://www.gnu.org> > Most MUA will pick up the URL string even if it spans multiple lines. > > > PS: Do anybody know how to get developers/funding to work on "mukt" > > educational project. > > You can approach NRC-FOSS for funding.
