Before you read the mail below, I recommend you search the web man, I found the info below on the web when I used Ubuntu Studio some time ago.
1. networkmanager does not come installed in Ubuntu Studio I think. Install it (and other packages in the repo related to it, I don't really remember) That will help you with your wifi. 2. The theme of Ubuntu Studio is also there in the repo as you found. It will get installed to the normal location.
