I don't agree to this point at all. Ubuntu is where it is because of it's community. Canonical pulling off the support may disrupt things but I don't see that as a end of ubuntu anyways. And anyways same FUD can be spread about Red Hat, Suse, etc. I can go out and say that, "Don't use OpenSUSE/Fedora cos they are backed by Red Hat/Novell, they may discontinue these projects as they don't get any profits from them, and go focus on their enterprise versions."
