Adoption can't be considered a one-off process; when you adopt you also 
buy into the distribution promoter's future, and if the promoter has 
closed doors to their continual evolution it'd be a bad idea to adopt 
their product, no?

Of course, if you're only looking at adopting a distribution for six 
months then what you say may well be valid.
