Buddy, I think you've lost the thread... hence here's a refresher. The question was: "why was Parijat getting very low data-rates with a USB 2.0 device". To summarise my answer-- I said maybe your device is running in USB 1 mode. True; the two are compatible-- that's why the device is recognized. Hope that helps.
