I for example, use iceweasel, a rebranded firefox by debian which many sites including those from big companies like yahoo and google don't recognise and label as "not supported" for various features which may actually work there. Sites must say we may not work with your browser rather than blanket denials due to search strings not matching. I agree companies may not find time to check for all but why deny? Let the customer go ahead at the risk of some things not working rather than stopping altogether just because the browser/platform is one you haven't tested for? Some may say that I do have the option of changing the string but it defeats the whole purpose and reasons for the rebranding. Best Regards Gajendra
