You are missing 2 points 1) The article doesn't mention that Linux based netbooks are exempt to this. Thus, spreading FUD in the mind of the users who've got Linux based netbooks but do not know enough about Linux as you and me. 2) It is an opportunity to spread the word on GNU/Linux.
