Maybe OT, but this makes me ask something I have been wondering about
for sometime: what if I need to look up some such Indian census data
online? Where can I look? (take a look at http://www.censusindia.net/,
for example, the link for "2001 Census" returns a 404).
Or, what if I need to lookup some (central or state) law document
online? The few law sites that Google returns want you to pay them to
view the documents.
Is there some useful resource (nic.in?) that I am missing? If not, is
there any work being done in this direction?
