Ten years ago, we found Compaq and HP merging to make a larger conglomerate.
CNBC and MSN joined hands. Microsoft invested in Apple. Interestingly,
nobody talks of Apple as a threat. Probably that is the power of inspiration
it provides!

Whoever joins with whoever is always welcome if its a win-win (sans MS
windoze) for all sides. Recently steel sector consolidated globally, we've
seen Arcelor-Mittal.

As FOSSouls, we all just wish that whenever M&A takes place, that must favor
FOSSociety!
At least I am looking forward to see RATIONAL ROSE, MATLAB and AUTOCAD as
FOSS products someday.
