Hi All IIT Delhi's annual Open House shall be held as usual on 18th April 2009. l...@iitd shall also be contributing like last time with a full day of activities. On this day school children and general public are free to visit IIT Delhi facilities. We shall be having presentations for them (two separate sections for school and grownups which shall be repeated during the course of the day. These shall be of 45 minutes each. There shall also be interleaved special short TipsNTricks sections on specific topics. We invite volunteers for giving these tips n tricks sections as well as the main section (for which presentations are already available). We request some general volunteers as well from whom we expect only 2 hours of presence at time suitable for them to attract audience. (If they want to stay longer they're welcome!). You can choose your topics and be available for the allotted slot. This event shall be from 9 to 5 pm. 9-9:45 Linux for School 9:45-10:15 Tips N Tricks 1 (Shell Programming?) 10:15-11:00 Linux for Grownups 11:00-11:30 Tips N Tricks 2 (Open Office?) 11:30-12:15 Linux for School (Repeat) 12:15-12:30 Tips N Tricks 3 12:30-1:30 Open Session for discussions on GNU/Linux tools and other topics of the choice of the audience 1:30-2:00 Tips N Tricks 4 2:00-2:45 Linux for Grownups (Repeat) 2:45-3:00 Tips N Tricks 5 3:00-3:45 Linux for School (Repeat) 3:45-4:00 Tips N Tricks 6 4:00-4:45 Linux for Grownups 4:45-5:00 Tips N Tricks 7 So in all we have 3 slots each for Linux for grown ups and school presentations and 7 slots for the tips n tricks sections.
