Type "su" in a terminal, and enter the root password,
which you will need to know.

Incidentally, no offence, but trivial questions like
this are best answered through (a) a decent book on
starting with Linux, (b) manpages. Install them, and
type "man su" in a terminal to read about how to use
the "su" command. Replace "su" with whatever other
command to read about that command. For example,
"man wvdial.conf" might be of use to you, (c) searching
Google, (d) asking on IRC. Please ask on this list only
after exhausting these possibilities, or if you run into
trouble with the commands there.

Regards,
Gora
