Firefox do suppose ogg video and (all other browser must support) only
ogg format.
       .mp4 and other non-standards files are handled with the
plugins. I suggest to download the video using wget command and
convert using ffmpeg Or OggConvert to Ogg format and see video. There
are online webservices tinyvid etc which can convert online videos to
ogg format.
