During my days of Reliance Infocomm, I saw a number of Nortel 8800/8600 switches used for their webworlds. ATRICA 2100 was a switch which was also a breeding ground of the vision of Mukeshbhai. Reliance NETWAY project ( IPTV) was using a modified version of it. ATRICA was ahead of CISCO as far as Price/Performace ratio is concerned.
