Hi,

I have been facing this problem from quite a long time.
I even thought of reporting the bug, but not sure how do I do that.
This is because every time I *dare* to see launchpad, I get confused
and rush to close the tab as soon as I can.
Also, I have bit fear because of the warnings that reads "Make sure
your bug hasn't already been reported". In fact, I once searched for
the related bugs.
Well, I'm proud that I was able to go through 2 result pages. :-)

Anyway, here is how you can reproduce the bug:
-Enable the screen lock if the system is idle for 10 mins
-I/O devices are busy working with guest OS inside VMware workstation
for more than 10 mins
-And when the mouse/keyboard comes out of VM and trying to interact
with host OS, the screen is locked

Host OS doesn't understand that, while working inside VM the system is
*not* idle.

Also, similar kind of issue was there when I was using VLC media
player on Ubuntu 9.10. As, when watching movie, apparently screen get
locked on its standard specified idle timeout.
But, I haven't faced this with VLC on Ubuntu 10.04.

Has anyone faced the issue?
Or is there similar bug already been reported, if someone know about it?
