No that doesn't work anymore.

In my case, I have used latest versions of either youtube-dl or clive (both
on Arch Linux) to download youtube videos. Latest versions usually support
downloads even if there is change in youtube's format of storing videos
(verified by unsuccessfully trying to download same video using same
software on ubuntu).
