Hi,
I have absolutely no idea how a novel network is organized / configured.
I need help with configuring Linux Box for Novel Print and File Services.
>From a preconfigured windoze box, i can see this
the only protocol used is TCP/IP (no ipx)
the server address is
00012345:abbcd...:1ad2...
i suppose the network address is 12345
at the linux box, i do this
(ipx_configure fails to find any configuration automatically )
ipx_interface add
device eth0
type : 802.2 ( I have tried other possiblities as well ,ie 802.4 and SPAN )
network address : 12345
and an interface is added as shown by ifconfig
but when i do slist
it gives error 8847 ( open failed )
Please help as this is the only thing that prevents me from using linux at office :(
