Dear Friends
Can you tell me if the PCTEL internal modem is compatible with Linux? What
software/ drivers are needed to make it work?
(It has a ref: V1456-VQH-P2; Japan company, but this piece made in Vietnam)
I was told by the hardware person that it has a HSP - Host Signal Processor
- so it should be compatible. (I had told him that Connextant is compatible
- he said that that also has HSP) .
Is is a good idea to swap this modem for a Motorola SM56 int modem which I
was using earlier, with windows?
