Hi,
We were trying to setup a linux (redhat 7.2) machine as a nis+
client. However, we are facing a lot of difficulties. I tried to follow
all the steps from HOWTO, but it still is giving troubles.
We already have a network with sun servers and workstations (all
runnig solaris 2.7) . The nis+ server is also running on a sun machine
with the same os.
could someone , please give a step by step instruction, on how to
configure our linux machine to be a client and authenticate using the
nis server. I believe this would cover , nis+ client setup , and pam
configuration.
