Not with any easy as I can imagine... if your administrator's have firewalled the yahoo server off with the usual yahoo ports as well, the only thing I can think of is having another box somewhere that relays all your messages transparently (eg. the iptables TPROXY).
You'd then configure your client to use this new server's IP and port, and configure the TPROXY to relay all packets adressed to it to the yahoo server /port.
