George,
In your .mc file you need to define MAILER(smtp) before MAILER(uucp). This
will generate additional mailers 'uucp-uudom' and 'uucp-dom' in your
sendmail.cf. You will want to use the uucp-uudom mailer if your uucp peers
use the ! style addressing in the envelope but domain-based addressing in
the headers. The 'uucp-dom' mailer could be used for full domain-based
addressing. I would say try 'uucp-dom' and see if the mail delivery happens
as you desire.
The other option you have is to run a script using 'formail' on the
incoming mail before putting them in the destination mailbox. Your script
could change FROM or REPLY-TO headers
containing: [EMAIL PROTECTED] to the format you desire. Hope
this helps.
