Yesterdays(8-9-2002) meeting of ILUG-D meetin at 119,
Dayanand Vihar, Hosted by Shonal Gupta.
*First order of day
Was, the discussion on the orientation of the group
ie. are we only for freedom as free software and open
source software are the only thing which will be
disscused at the ILUG-D meeting.(freedom only)
OR
We as the group are for Freedom, as freedom (above)
plus who ever wants to disscuss/ demonstrate closed
software developed on ONLY LINUX (BSD..etc.)

Upon the result of voting (Majority is Right) we are
henceforth group for Freedom++
**Second order of the Day (Evening 7:00pm)
[phew...finally] was LAP project of the Group...in a
gist...this project is about drafting and finallising
Syllabi for CBSE Schools, to adopt a course such that
Linux and other alternative technologies are taught to
the students as a part of computer studies.
This project is beeing coordinated by Prateek Khanna
and Dhruv Gami
- Prateek and Dhruv will get the CBSE guidlines
uploaded to lap.linux-delhi.org. Site
administrator will be Prateek.
- site as made availabe by Raj Mathur.
-existing work done by Leo will also be put
online.
PEOPLE OF THE LIST-- YOUR SUPPORT AS PART OF THE CORE
TEAM AND FROM THE "STANDS" (SUGGESTION) ARE REQUESTED
IN THIS PROJECT, TO MAKE IT A SUCCESSFUL ILUG-D
EXECUTION / IMPLEMENTATION.
You are to get in touch with Prateek Khanna in this
regard.....

Well after the voting...and delay in the previous 2
topic...Demo of Kalculate was not held. Those who want
to see the Demo....will need to put in a request to
the list.
