People,
I have a requirement to write an X aplpication. Which
:

1) Runs on X running on Solaris as well as on any
Linux box.
2) Can be compiled for X on other platforms as well.
(This is due to #1)
3) Is network enabled, can be accessed over network by
other applications. (I guess, it means it should
support socket-communication.)

Does anybody in here know anything on this ? Whats the
best book that describes X internals ?

Cheers,
Amol.
