is Kalculate a gpl-ed software? i hope it is.
if not, i wonder if the author is willing to consider making it a gpl-ed

imho, i strongly feel all financial/accounts/banking software in india need
to be gpl-ed. to me, it seems to be the need of the hour.
in fact, imho, the following sectors in india would benefit greatly if the
software deployed are gpl-ed:
1) eGovernance (and within every dept. of government)
2)education
3)banking
4)finance
5)insurance
6)scientific research and applications, r&d
7) medical sciences+health
8) indiic-language computing
9) telecom
10) publishing
wherever IT initiatives are taken, whether micro or macro, such as setting up
cybercafes, or setting up software tech parks, the infrastructure software
should also be considered towards gpl.
anyways, just my two-paise of thoughts.
