hi
i've a pop a/c frm which i download mails both at home and office. at
home i'm using evolution for the time being, and at office i download
thru fetchmail and read it in squirrelmail.
at home, the copy is left on the server and at office every mail is
downloaded frm the server.
now i wish to setup fetchmail at my home, but the prob is fetchmail
downloads the mail again and again, even if it is read. the following is
my .fetchmailrc

set postmaster "vivek"
set nobouncemail
set no spambounce
set properties ""
set idfile "/home/vivek/.fetchids"
poll mypop.myserver.com with proto POP3
user 'uname' there with password 'my_pwd' is 'vivek' here options keep

earlier it used to download only the read mails (earlier means almost an
year back on a redhat machine), and i had configured it properly. but
now i just can't remember what settings i'd done so that only the new
mails are downloaded
the following options do NOT work as desired
..... is 'vivek' here options keep no fetchall
keep no flush no fetchall
no flush
no fetchall
and no .fetchids is created, even if i create it manually and assign
0710 permissions to it, it gets deleted after the mails are downloaded.
can anyone help me out so that a copy of the message is left on the
server and i don't have to download mail again and again. i can use
getmail to do that (directly deliver to my Maildir/) but i wish to use
fetchmail.
