I'm sure the hard drive does support DMA. I'm trying
to get to the spec page of the HD 80GB 5400 MSR38 US
to confirm that it does. The results of uname -a on my
system are:
2.4.19-16mdk

Is there any web page where I can confirm whether this
hardware model is supported by my OS?
