Dear Mr.Virdi,
first of all thanks for your reply.

If your monitor is going with the problem of flickering frequently, then you
may handle this problem as follows :
(its in windows 98 SE) :

- right click on a blank portion of your desktop.
- click on the 'properties'
- now click on the settings tab
- below 'screen area' you would find an 'advanced' tab
- click over advanced tab and you would find five tabs namely : Gen,
Adapter, Monitor, Performance & colour mgmt.
- Now click over the 'Adapter' tab
- here you would find the 'Refresh Rate' .

You may have set your monitor's refresh rate at optimal level. Just try it
out at 60Hz or 75Hz and by all probability, your porblem would be solved.

If you still face the flickering problem, pl. revert to solve your problem.

best regards,
Malkiat
