(PRWEB) December 21, 2005 -- LinuxQuestions.org (http://www.linuxquestions.org/) is proud to announce that it recently reached two milestones. The site now contains over two million (2,000,000) posts and has over two hundred thousand (200,000) registered members. As one of the largest non-distribution specific Linux communities on the web, LQ continues the rapid growth that it has sustained for almost six years. The site was recently redesigned and is an integral part of a growing network of Linux-related sites. "Two hundred thousand members and 2 million posts is far behind what I thought we'd achieve when LQ was first started. I look forward to the continued growth of the site and am honored that so many people have decided to become members. It's fantastic be part of the Linux community", said LinuxQuestions.org founder Jeremy Garcia. About LinuxQuestions.org: LinuxQuestions.org is a free, friendly and active Linux Community with over 200,000 members and over 2,000,000 posts. Founded in 2000 LQ offers forums, reviews, a Linux hardware compatibility list, a Linux knowledge base in wiki format, Linux tutorials, a free Linux download site, a Linux podcast, a Linux Radio show, a social bookmarking site and more. LQ has forums for everything from Linux Newbies to Linux in the Enterprise and has 25 officially recognized Linux distribution forums. ------------------------ Yahoo!
