Hi,
1) First of all, If you want to know the partitions names in the harddisks,
then apply this command:
# fdisk -l
2) If you want to mount the FAT32 partition in linux, the command is:
# cd /mnt
# mkdir cdrive
# mount -t vfat /dev/hdd1 /mnt/cdrive
Now all C Drive files will be into the /mnt/cdrive.
3) Automate the Mount process when Linux switch on:
Add the below lines to end of the /etc/fstab file:
/dev/hdd1 /mnt/cdrive vfat users,gid=users,umask=0002,utf8=true 0 0
/dev/hdd5 /mnt/ddrive vfat users,gid=users,umask=0002,utf8=true 0 0
and save the above file. Now restart linux. After restarting linux, you can
find C drive and D drive files and folders in /mnt/cdrive and /mnt/ddrive.
With regards,
Chandra.
