Does the card show some sign that it is getting power and does the
LED show any sign of being active? because there might be an issue
with the card it self since D-link cards are supported.
Make sure the card is firmly inserted etc.
Another possiblity may be a conflict with the IRQ no. check your BIOS
settings etc.
if all is fine then Search this mailing list since this kind of question
has been asked many times.
