I tried this Antivirus Program" avglinux-7.1-24_free_rh_avi0720 i386 rpm" for the Redhat Linux Operating System (Redhat Linux release 9 (shrike) .
I used the command "rpm -ivf avglinux-7.1-24_free_rh_avi0720 i386 rpm" and the system gave the following messages - error : Failed dependencies
pygtk2>=2.0.0 is needed and pygtk2-libglade >=2.0.0 is needed .
Then I downloaded the file " pygtk-2.8.6 " , but how do I install it ? There are many files in it , and I don't find any .rpm file to install it . How do I go about the installation of this file ? Can anyone please help me out ?
I am an absolute newbie to Linux .
My other doubt is " How to perform an update to this OS , though the support has been stopped " ? Is it up2date like in Fedora ? Even that gave me an error .
