The problem can be fixed by running the xhost command with the
appropriate argument :-) Read man xhost for details.
But the question to be asked here, what are you doing as root user in
the X window system? Please create a user for yourself and work as
that user. Use the root user only for system related work. sudo is
preferred over working directly as root.
