Hi Ravi,
Are you sure that the NFS server is up and exporting the filesystem?
Try mounting the NFS partition after booting the local machine and see if it
works.
It will help us if you can tell how you made it mount at boot-time(/etc/fstab
entry?) and also the exact error message.
