Suppose, one user say ravi1 is in domain called abc.com and exchange server
name is say "win", and one more user ravi2 in domain called xyz.com and linux
server name is say "lin". when i ping from "win" to "lin" its pinging, but when
I send a mail from [EMAIL PROTECTED] to [EMAIL PROTECTED], the mail does not
go.
Name resolution is happening between win.xyz.com and lin.abc.com, i can ping
lin from win, and win from lin.
I think now my doubt is clear about you. Any setting to done such as forwarding
zone settings, in linux box (send mail) or windows box (exchange) etc.

so one or both of those domains have fake hostnames not in dns, no way to
route mail between those domains etc
