Hello luggers, The May month's meet plans to be a scorcher for more than one reasons. For this meet, we have Phani Kumar Arava (a regular member and an old-timer) giving a talk on Xen Virtualization.
Talk ----- Xen Virtualization : An introduction with a demo Overview of the talk ---------------------- "Virtualization refers to the creation of virtual machines using a combination of hardware and software"[1]. Virtualization is the new buzz word in most corporates and has wide applications[2] in Disaster recovery, Testing, server consolidation and portability. Xen[3] is the undisputed leader in virtualization related products. All the more it is a free software. We have Phani giving an overview of Xen virtualization and he will also show us a demo on Novell SLES. Venue and time --------------- 25th May (Sunday), 2008 at Department of Astronomy, Osmania University at 2pm. All are welcome for the talk.
