Hi All
Off late I started using Ubuntu 8.04 (and was earlier on Windows)and I can
only surf for less that a minute on my laptop and then I get disconnected.
I'm using a Beam Cable Internet Srvc and this is what happens.
I authenticate to their server on their URL, the internet works fine for a
minute and then it gets disconnected.
When I ping the gateway I get unreachable message..when I plug the internet
cable to other two systems at home I am able to access it fine.
I have tried disabling/enabling my interface restarted etc..,
Attached outputs of my config., route and ping.
Apart from the above problem I would also need a suggestion on the below
(hope I'm not asking for too much).
I have updated my kernel twice and now I have 3 kernels and their recovery
option on my Grub menu list.
. Is it recommended to have all of them if not required how can I
remove the older ones
