The january meet started off at 5:00 pm (1.5 hours behind schedule) for want of
audience. I gave a very quick intro to the git version control system to the 4
members who attended and demoed the central repository development method and
the distributed development method. The meet concluded at 6:00pm. Though I did
not prepare any slides, I would recommend Shakthi's git presentation [1]. I
would like to thank Jayesh Patel and Balaji of Open I technologies for hosting
the meet.

Personally, I don't believe monthly meets make sense any more. No one is
interested in giving a talk, attending it or even participating in activities.
It can pain the coordinator, speaker (this is the second time that it has
happened to me and I have got used to it) and all those who have made an effort
to come to the meet to interact with fellow luggers.

I would like to inform that I will not be coordinating the monthly meets here
after.
