If you are into development training use either Fedora/Ubuntu/Debian. CentOS can run on 128MB RAM, 1.0 Ghz Atom and 5GB disk too; but then it needs to be stripped down for speed. Let us know what you will use the linux machines for (desktop for training or central server for training), depending on that you could scale up the RAM and processor.
