Hi folks, For this month, Baishampayan Ghose (aka FreeGeek) has accepted our invitation for a half day workshop on "Clojure: A dynamic programming language for the JVM".
Since he is based out of Pune, he would love to have someone sponsor his travel. He would be arriving and leaving by the same day so accommodation expenses would not be required. Going by cleartrip's current rates, the round trip costs 6000/-. If we could have some organization sponsor the amount at least in part, it would be great or we might have to charge for the meet. So what are your suggestions? Do we go for a paid meet (nominal amount) or someone willing to sponsor? More details of the talk and the speaker will follow. -- Cheers Theju
