Dear Livia,
may be there are some problems in the original shapefiles, e.g. Id numbers
too much high, beyond capabilities of ILWIS. I found such limitation just
one time, and the problem have been pointed out by the ILWIS technical
support; otherwise I imported every kind of shapefile without any problem.

Dear Ilwis users,
I'm trying to import an Arcview 3.0 shapefile in Ilwis 2.2.3 without
success.I find the 3 files .shp, .dbf and .shx and Ilwis seems to read
correctly the record but it sops at the beginning of the processing phase.
Does anybody know if there is something I need to do ?
