(ilwis-list) contour lines in shape file format, import to ilwis and generate DEM

Hi, everybody,   I have contour lines with z value in shape file format (translated from MapInfo to ArcView shape file), I imported it into ilwis, the domains then are nr1 .....nr? created by ilwis automatically, there is also a column of z value in the table. I convert domain to value through edit property of the segment map, but I can not get the z value show while I open the segment map.
