my friend arnaldo:
if you want to use landsat-tm image (digital), make sure you have converted all lat-longs (i mean deg-min-sec) to the appropriate map projection, e.g. dms as expressed in UTM. likewise, do the same procedure for your gps coordinates (dms to utm for example). its relatively hard to work only on angles rather than if these are expressed in meters! you have to do coordinate transformations for this type of issue. regards, kabi Arnaldo Carneiro Filho wrote: Someone can help me: I have to put some coordinates on a Landsat-TM image. The coordinates come from a gps which means I have degree, minutes and seconds.I have tried to read the users guide without suceed. So perhaps somenoe can give any indications on how to do that.
