Dear Joelle Dagnelies,
I am not sure if I fully understood your question, but you could try to use the following statement on the commandline:
Columnnumber=iff(inputmap,%c,0) where inputmap is the name of your original raw map.

Dear list members,
I wish to use each column number (1 for first column, 2, ... 8000 for the last column) of a raw raster map inside MapCalculation formulas. But my problem is that I know how to find the value of the pixel (DN) but not how to automatically extract the column number of this pixel... and for the totality of the pixels. i.e I need a raster map with the column numbers as pixel values.
I hope this was clear enough, maybe you can help me,
Best regards,
Joelle Dagnelies
