Thanks for the welcome. As I say, I don't know why it didn't occur to me earliar that
there would be an on-line group of IM people, or I would've arrived here years ago!
It was a VERY tough choice on S&G v. IM. I grew up listening to S&G, never have seen
them live (have never even seen Simon live though I did see a Garfunkel concert once)-
but autumn in Lancaster and seeing IM in a small venue in their homeport just tipped
the scale. I guess I also figured there was a chance that S&G would shoot film of at
least one performance, so I might get to see them that way.
And yes, visiting Lancaster was definitely part of the equation. I haven't been there
since a school trip about 25 years ago (eek!) and am originally from the East (CT), so
I look forward to seeing some "real" autumn again in PA. Plus I've also always
wanted to visit the Wyeth museum in Chadds Ford, too.
