I too would love to hear that show. That's about the time when I first saw IM, at the old 930 Club in DC (the kind of place where you paid someone $2 to "watch your car" when you parked). Talk about being a "rock band"--I remember thinking, "Lord, can't they turn the drums down just a little?" I kinda miss that, he said at the risk of being heretical.

This was pre-DAT era for me, and the mics were sub-par....not much bass
tone, doesn't sound too great. But I can dig it up just the same. This was
one of the first tapes I sent to Keith back in the day.
Sort of strange to think that tIM was once a rock band that played dives
like the Fastlane.
This was the show where Karen said, during a long equipment change, "so what
time does Bruce usually show up at these things?" :)
