I think the key thing here is that the Innocence Mission is trying to capture
something that simply doesn't exist in popular music. They are so different
from what is on the radio and T.V. and that is a welcome relief. As a musician
I completely respect their courage to be unique and not to succumb to the
trends of the day. I haven't listened to them much since Small Planes but their
music is always on my mind. What a nice bunch of people they are.
