Connect the cable modem to your iMac and go into the Airport application and turn on "Software Base Station." Works great... In fact, I'm writing this from my PowerBook G4 on the couch, accessing the internet through Software Base Station on my iMac. :) Keep in mind, though, that in order for your PowerBook to access the 'Net... the iMac must be turned on and on line.
