Another testamonial..... I have a severly upgraded Performa cum Quadra 635. Aside from having everything but the CDROM swapped out within the first 60 days under warranty, one of side railings that hold in the motherboard is missing, dropping an FPU chip 3 feet then installing it in the motherboard, several near lightening strikes and weekly power surges, there's been no issues with my performa, including the monitor. I now use it to hold files, run graphics apps and to watch TV. My refurbed imac DV 400 has survived one lightening strike and still runs impeccably.
