And don't forget to check what languages it is indexing in. The
default MacOS install is about 12 languages, so don't forget to
de-select the ones you don't need. (Open Sherlock, select Edit >
Preferences > Languages) I remember the first time it started
indexing on my machines it took hours! I discovered that when 11
of the 12 default languages are disabled it goes much more
quickly!
