I have a very early iMac. The instructions for installing memory are in the
help manual along with diagrams. It's not as easy as just popping it in
which is why I've been hesitant to do it. I inquired at a shop here and
they said they'd charge around $50.00 to do it.
I did find a website with better instructional photos. I'm sorry but I
don't know the URL. But I did a search on google, probably using the words
iMac+memory installation (or something like that) and came up with a good
site.
